This compact wallet is made from vegetable tanned cow leather that is rich in wax.
The flap serves as a receiver for coins, making it easy to remove them without having to reach deep into the wallet.
The special feature of this leather is that when it is rubbed, the wax that has been absorbed into it melts with the heat, rising to the surface and giving it a glossy finish.

*During the manufacturing process, the leather may appear to have been rubbed and scratched, but these are not scratches; they are just marks left by the wax rubbing off.
