The print is done at a dyeing factory in Kyoto. Before the dye dries, another color is layered on top, so the base color and the pattern color do not blend too much and do not stand alone, creating a blurred, gradation-like effect. The base fabric is made of lyocell rayon linen broadcloth, which gives the fabric the crispness of linen and the drape of lyocell and rayon. The fuzziness of each of the three types is mixed together, giving it a unique texture and appearance.
