This work jacket is a simple and sturdy workwear item reinterpreted with a cheerful "California" feel, and is lightweight and balanced to be worn by a somewhat laid-back and lazy person.
It is made from a single piece of light-weight denim.
The sewn-in action pleats, the extremely wide body width, and the corduroy collar that has discolored from daily wear and sun damage are all details of a site supervisor who only gives orders, or a lazy person who doesn't do any work, but they have all been finished with a special process.
Although the design is extremely basic, we paid careful attention to details such as pocket position, size balance, and the feel of the finish.
Although it is made from a single piece of fabric, it also has an inner pocket.

Fabric
The 8oz 2/1 light handwork denim is Sanforized (shrink-proof) and made to the standards of Union (Union Made), a company that was active in the 1950s and 1960s and included various work brands such as Lee, known for Union Ticket, and is dyed. The thread usage, density, and weave are reproduced by disassembling and analyzing deadstock from that time.
