This is the first collaboration product between SOUTH2 WEST8 and NANGA, a long-established Japanese down manufacturer based in Shiga Prefecture, founded in 1941.
The TENKARA TROUT DOWN JACKET features fishing details such as webbing tape for hanging tools, spacious game pockets, and rod holders, as well as functional design elements such as underarm ventilation and waterproof zippers.
Based on the iconic model of SOUTH2 WEST8, the main fabric is made from NANGA's unique flame-retardant and highly durable polyester-aramid blend material that is resistant to punctures even when exposed to sparks from a bonfire or barbecue, and it is filled with 770 fill power Spanish duck down that has been treated with a super-water-repellent fine particle finish to reduce feather loss due to exposure to water or humidity.
This is a noteworthy collaboration product that incorporates the know-how about down products that NANGA has cultivated over many years.
