This ambitious DAIWA PIER39 product uses Spiber's artificial protein material, a circular fiber.
These shorts are designed to directly highlight the material's characteristics, utilizing the unique color of Brewed Protein and minimizing design details.
The design is inspired by U.S. Navy utility pants.
It features large patch pockets that extend to the sides.
A drawstring has been added to the waist, allowing for easy, beltless wear.

Fabric
A high-quality fiber material made using Spiber's proprietary fermentation (brewing) technology from plant-derived raw materials.
It enables circular manufacturing and is pioneering a new material category: "protein" fibers.
This is an original yarn and original developed fabric for our brand, made by blending yarn with the characteristic slick feel, luster, and long staple of Brewed Protein with recycled polyester yarn.
This environmentally friendly, near-future material achieves an exquisite texture that combines the best qualities of protein fibers and synthetic fibers.
