Outdoor apparel from the 2000s featured a wide variety of design details, born from the diverse ways it was used.
This fleece jacket features the simple vertical zipper design of the time, and is reinforced with different fabric in areas that bear stress.
The forward-swept sleeves, a military detail, serve as a design accent. The action pleats were added to allow for a wider range of arm movement.

The fine fibers are raised to create a soft texture, and despite being a lightweight fleece material, it has a moderate thickness and provides insulation through radiant heat.
