Fabric
The warp threads are made of 50d recycled polyester and the weft threads are made of 2/60% spun silk yarn.
Grosgrain is usually a medium to thick fabric that tends to feel stiff, but this material takes advantage of the qualities of silk to create a thin, soft, and lightweight grosgrain.
Because it is an extremely delicate fabric, each finishing process is carried out twice, once in the forward direction and once in the reverse direction, taking a lot of time and effort to prevent wrinkles and warping.
The surface is made of polyester with a high number of vertical threads, which makes it possible to give it a slight water-repellent finish, and the silk on the back is soft to the touch and has an uneven fineness that allows it to retain air and keep you warm.
