The upper is made of horse leather with a shirred cushioning. <br>Paired with a simple leather sole.
Horse leather is strong because the leather fibers are fine.
I was able to create a thin loop of tape by inner sewing.
Both the insole and outsole are leather,
The sole sinks into your foot and becomes comfortable.
