The new label "ROYAL STAR" is a leather collection that reinterprets classic archive pieces from Converse's long history and incorporates a modern vibe.
With designer Toshinosuke Takegahara as supervisor, the company pursues a design that eliminates waste and careful manufacturing.
This shoe is a modern update of Converse's iconic basketball shoe, the WEAPON, which was first released in 1986.
The minimalist upper design is luxuriously clad in leather, and the chevron and star logo on the inner and outer hips and the Y-bar of adjusted thickness make a quiet statement.
While based on a classic design, it features an innovative sole structure that combines a highly cushioned PU midsole with rubber.
In addition, the React insole uses two layers of PU with different hardness, providing a comfortable fit.
The serial number is printed on the back of the tongue.
