This jacket is based on an item developed for operators supporting the takeoff and landing of fighter jets on Royal Navy aircraft carriers. Produced over a long period from the 60s to the 90s, it is divided into early and late models. This item is based on the early model, known for its shape around the shoulders and its ability to fade well after use. The design itself also retains many modern details, such as a double-layered construction with complex patterns on the outer and inner lining, a hood designed to accommodate earmuffs with brims, buttons to hold cords together, and a large pocket for communication devices, while the silhouette has been updated for a more modern look.
