This is an updated model based on the stand-neck reversible blouson released in 25A/W.
We have newly created an original double-face material.
This material is made by using an embroidery machine to entangle fibers with needles, without using thread, to join two pieces of fabric.
The front is a crushed velour material, and the back uses recycled wool blended with Bishu cashmere.
Another feature is that the threads (fabric) from the back are pulled to the front, allowing the texture of the back to subtly show through.
The greatest feature lies in the sewing; by using a rare TPS sewing machine in Japan for butt seam sewing, there are no seam allowances, resulting in a very lightweight finish, and stress-free wear as there are no seam allowances rubbing against the body during wear.
The absence of seam allowances also allows for a reversible finish that can be worn both ways.
