This pleated jacket was inspired by items from a rustic house brand from a very old era.
It is easy to carry around and store various small items,
All pockets are designed to be large.
The tack buttons are unpainted iron, and the rivets are copper-plated iron.
Both will gradually rust and develop a unique texture and look.

At a historic weaving shop in Okayama Prefecture, we use old-fashioned power looms (shuttle looms).
Selvedge denim is characterized by its unique texture, which is created by slowly and carefully weaving it.
After weaving, we use raw denim that has not been subjected to any finishing processes, including washing or shrink-proofing.
Because old looms are used, production efficiency is very low.
Only a few metres can be woven per hour.
However, this careful manufacturing process allows the warp threads to be made without excessive tension.
The result is a fabric with a unique texture that combines a crisp feel with volume.
We use carefully selected cotton, carefully examining the texture and length of the fibers.
