The "house made" series is a project that aims to get Hender Scheme's production team more deeply involved in production, returning them to the roots of making things with their own hands.
Positioned as the next step in the "making it ourselves" series that began with the assemble series, each pair is carefully crafted in collaboration with circulation, combining the skills and perspectives of both teams.
The new model features a slit in a single piece of 'Vacchetta' leather, with a unique cut that wraps around the thumb and instep.
This thick, oily leather has supple elasticity and excellent hold, allowing you to feel the fit from the moment you put your foot in.
The midsole and outsole are glued together with a difference of just a few millimeters between the inside and outside of the sole, creating a rounded, three-dimensional form and a comfortable, enveloping fit.
This shoe is a strong reflection of Hender Scheme's craftsmanship, and was completed by reexamining the meaning of making something with one's own hands, from the selection of materials to the structure and finishing.
