The edges are coated with a clear coating so you can see that the cross section is made up of layers.
The most important part of making a wallet is to minimize thickness, so you can get a sense of its high quality by looking at the edge.
The inside of the wallet features nen (a design where lines are drawn into the leather with a hot iron), making it a simple yet detailed wallet.
We use vegetable tanned cow leather that is rich in wax.
The special feature of this leather is that when it is rubbed, the wax that has been absorbed into it melts with the heat, rising to the surface and giving it a glossy finish.
*The leather may appear to have been rubbed and scratched during the manufacturing process, but these are not scratches, but traces of the wax having been rubbed off. Please note this is due to the nature of the product.
