By making cuts in the area including the hanging allowance, the design allows the shoe to be made without the technique or action required for removing wrinkles when hanging.
The design combines functionality and style, and has unique specifications that could not be achieved without an understanding of the production process.
It's a new technical form that is the result of our recent efforts to create our own shapes and rethink craft.
I strongly hope to find a definition of new craft as an entity beyond the production of such products.
