One of America's most beloved artists, Saul Steinberg (1914-1999) was a Romanian-born American cartoonist and illustrator known primarily for The New Yorker, whose intelligent and sophisticated style made him a standout among the best in the world.
He held solo exhibitions in the United States and Europe, becoming the first artist to be classified as both a manga artist and an artist.
