This fabric is made by backing raw silk with cotton, which eliminates the unique looseness of raw silk while retaining its smooth texture.

*Due to the nature of the fabric, large slubs or stray fibers (tobi-komi) of a different color from the main body may be present. The unevenness in the dye is intentionally created. Please consider this a characteristic of the fabric. Slubs tend to gradually decrease with repeated washing.
