Cotton is placed on the reverse side of raw silk, eliminating the droopy feel that is unique to raw silk, while still retaining its smooth texture.
Due to the characteristics of the fabric, there may be large neps or thread fuzz (including frayed yarn) that is a different color from the main body color.
The unevenness of the dyeing is intentionally created to look striking.
Neps tend to decrease gradually with repeated washing.
