Cotton is placed on the reverse side of raw silk to eliminate the droopiness that is unique to raw silk, while still retaining its smooth texture. Due to the nature of the fabric, there may be large neps or thread fuzz (including tobi) that is different from the main color. The unevenness of the dye is intentionally created. Please inform the customer that this is a characteristic of the fabric. Neps tend to gradually decrease with repeated washing.
