With the last shape at the center of the design, we aimed to create a form that would highlight the dressy upper by removing some of the roundness from the oblique shape.
By creating a peak near the big toe, we aimed for a three-dimensional look with a touch of sexiness.
The Balmoral is made from smooth cow leather to bring out the shape of the last to the fullest.
The edges of the welt are also rounded to follow the shape of the last, creating a modest rounded edge.
When you actually put your feet in, you'll feel the impact of the last, but I think you'll also realize that the shoes fit in well with current silhouettes.
