This merino wool material, made by a long-established Italian worsted wool brand, overcomes the traditional weaknesses of wool, such as being itchy and shrinking when washed.
The raw material used is non-mulesing merino, and the fabric has a texture that is just right for a set-up, with excellent breathability, odor resistance, and flame resistance.
By processing the fabric in three stages - cotton, yarn and fabric - we are able to achieve a beautiful texture that is not found in conventional washable wool, without compromising the functionality of merino wool.
These two characteristics mean that, despite being a cut and sew item, it does not wrinkle and has a high-quality feel against the skin.
Unlike synthetic fibers, it is a material that is kind to the earth, people, and animals and does not release microplastics even after washing.
