The yarn used for the outer fabric is a blend of 88% cotton and 12% rayon, which makes it highly absorbent and quick-drying, and while it is firm, it also has a soft texture. The fabric for the pocket is a zigzag pattern blanket woven slowly on a vintage Schonherr loom. The yarn is woven slowly without putting undue stress on the yarn, resulting in a soft texture. The yarn is dyed with vegetable dyes.
