These high-cut sneakers were commissioned to be made by Moonstar, a historic factory in Fukuoka. It's been a while since OLD JOE released sneakers. Since the last time, samples have been planned and made several times, but with the recent popularity of sneakers, most sneakers are made in China or Asia at low cost and low quality, and the reality is that there are not many good factories. (There are very few sneakers with domestic designs made in Japan.) This time, we were able to complete a high-quality product that reaffirms the excellent technical skills, intuition, and sense of Japanese craftsmen. The silhouette and sole specifications of the product created in the 1930s are perfectly reproduced and reconstructed. The sneakers are very dignified and beautiful, with small eyelets that are aged by hand one by one in the atelier neatly aligned.
