Outlast is a technology developed by NASA for gloves used in space.
This is a comfortable temperature regulating material that works to maintain the skin surface temperature and keep the body at a temperature range that humans find comfortable (31°C to 33°C), so that you don't get too cold in extremely cold weather, and don't get too hot in hot environments.
Outlast fiber contains microcapsules of 2 to 3 microns in size.
The capsules contain paraffin wax.
This paraffin wax is heated at temperatures close to the surface temperature of human skin (31-33°C).
