The outer material is made of cotton/nylon oxford with a lovely peach brushed finish.
Not only does it reproduce the heavy metal zipper and dot buttons,
Layered buttons are placed in various places so that an original liner can be attached.

The highlight is the large "inverted pleats" on the back.
A bold design with pleats that can be opened and closed with a zipper so that it can be worn over a backpack.
A ZIP-O-GAGE (key chain with thermometer) is attached to the D-ring on the back of the left pocket flap.

The oversized silhouette is designed to be worn over a field jacket as a field coat to increase protection from the cold.
Wear it as an overcoat in your layering system to complete your weather protection.
