The material is a satin-woven fabric made from undyed organic cotton, and the ribbed part is made with the same thread. The embroidery part, which is usually made with rayon thread, is made with cotton thread, expressing chaotic embroidery with multiple layers of color gradation.

Originally a souvenir jacket for American soldiers, the Sukajan became linked to the youth culture of Japan at the time due to the rockabilly boom of the 1960s and the Yankee boom of the 1970s, and became something like "standard clothing for delinquents." This is a gentle Sukajan, which we made in our own way to make that delinquent clothing "as good as possible."
