This oversized, cut-off field jacket is made from an original silk twill fabric that has been dyed after production, using unrefined raw silk spun from the cocoons of the moths as the weft, giving it the softness of silk while also giving it a casual feel with a napped texture.

Field jackets remind me of Travis from the movie Taxi Driver. If Travis had been wearing a jacket made of this soft and comfortable raw silk, instead of one made for the war, he might not have been so upset. That's our interpretation.
