They may look similar, but they are different fabrics.
Velour is knitted, while velvet and velvet are woven but made differently.
Velvet is characterized by its unique luster and shading due to its long pile.
This garment is made of cotton-based velvet, which has been specially finished and tumbled after production to give it a texture that feels comfortable from the start.
This velvet cut-off jacket is fleshy yet has a beautiful sheen.
I made it with the hope that it would look like vintage clothing that had been brought back to life from the Showa era.
I hope that by wearing these clothes, you will be able to relive past memories and also create new memories with them.
