They collect old jeans and other items, remove the rivets and zippers, shred them, and then spin them into yarn to create recycled denim. They also cut and sew together original cashmere-blend denim, silk denim, and selvedge denim that they have created over the past few years, in separate pieces.
No chemicals are used in the distressing process, and the garments are washed in natural seawater (deep ocean water) which contains minerals and other components, causing the colour to fade.

Whatever is left over is made into larger parts, and what little is left is made into smaller parts. Silk denim has silk label, cashmere denim has cashmere leather patch, and each fabric has its own name. It would be a waste to throw away what is left over, so this is a collection of doublet's original denim fabrics, designed to use everything without waste.
