Naval Watch is a historic military watch brand founded in Switzerland in 1848.
In 1918, the Swiss Watch Industry Journal described it as "an indispensable watch for the military."
Later, luminous paint, an essential part of military watches, was applied to the dial and hands.
Based on Naval Watch's original philosophy of "valuing the spirit of inquiry into manufacturing," the company continues to offer watches that update the designs of vintage military watches to modern specifications.
(Current products use safe phosphorescent paint.)

At MOUT, we designed and incorporated indexes and hands into this naval watch inspired by vintage military divers from the US military.
MOUT also created an original Watch base made from SEDGWICK bridle leather*1 with goat leather on the lining, giving it both strength and flexibility.
The part hidden under the watch case has a large icon embossed on it and is made with high quality.

SEDGWICK, a long-established tannery that carries on traditional British craftsmanship
Founded in 1900 in Walsall, England, this is one of the world's leading bridle tanneries, providing high-quality leather using traditional techniques in all processes, from material selection, tanning, and cutting.
In particular, bridle leather is a signature leather of Sedwick, made using high-quality shoulder leather from adult cattle, with special wax repeatedly applied over time.
Bridle means "horse tack" and is a traditional manufacturing method that has been used in England for over 1,000 years.It is used for horse tack such as reins, which can greatly affect the life of the rider, so the process takes about five months to complete in order to turn the leather into a strong material that can withstand the power of a strong horse.The leather is repeatedly coated with the tannery's secret wax to tighten the fibers.
This becomes a white mark called "bloom" that appears on the surface and is proof that it is bridle leather.
