- Follows the color and details of the “996” model announced at N.HOOLYWOOD × New Balance FALL 2019.
The upper is made of a combination of nubuck and long-haired pick suede, with water-repellent mesh used throughout. The historic "NB" logo and "2002R" that still exist to this day are laid out and embroidered on the toe, heel, and tongue. A different design of "N" is used on both sides. An original insole is created with a pattern of the logos of the three companies printed on it. Comes with three shoelaces in black, gray, and ivory to match the shoes.
The midsole uses a model that combines a high-spec sole equipped with N ERGY, which boasts high shock absorption and rebound properties, and ABZORB, from the performance running shoe "860v2" that was released in 2011.
