Designer Nishino worked closely with a fabric store to create a fabric that was designed to replicate the fabric of work pants used in German coal mines in the 1920s and 1930s.
It is extremely difficult to recreate the worn-out look of a piece that is nearly 100 years old.
We ended up with cellulose fabric (regenerated fiber).
Cellulose is woven at a very high density and then given a special washing process.
This gives it a unique feel.
It has a unique fabric texture that drapes and sways with every movement.
This has a tapered silhouette.

*Due to the special processing used, there may be vertical streaks or uneven dyeing on the surface of the fabric. There may also be weaving knots in places, but please understand that this is a characteristic of the fabric.
