For over 200 years, together with many skilled craftsmen in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture,
Wajima Kirimoto is run by the Kirimoto family, who have worked with wood and lacquer.
They trust Nakajima Jinmatsuya, a legendary lacquer artist who also restores national treasures.
This season, LOOSEJOINTS will focus on these two brands that continue Japanese traditions.
The erotic pictures painted on lacquerware by Nakajima Jinmatsuya have been turned into pop art.
This is incorporated into the items as graphics.
