Tomoo Gokita
Born in Tokyo in 1969. Starting out as an illustrator, he was influenced by American subculture and the underground of the 1960s and 1970s, and has produced works inspired by magazines and photographs from that time.
In the late 1990s, he gained enthusiastic support for his drawing works.
After that, he started producing monochrome portraits using acrylic gouache on canvas.
He has also exhibited his works in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, and other cities, receiving high praise.
In 2014, he held a solo exhibition "THE GREAT CIRCUS" at the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art in Sakura City.
She has also published many works, including collections such as "Lingerie Wrestling" (2000),
Some of his works include "Shuffle Train Song" (2010), "777" (2015), and "Holy Cow" (2017).
