ORIENTAL TIE DYE WA-NECK L/S SHIRT

A war-neck shirt made from fabric that has been tie-dyed and dyed in a kimono fabric workshop in Kyoto.
The fabric is rolled into a round rod and dyed by wrapping thread around it in a spiral from top to bottom.
This is a traditional dyeing method in which only the visible surface is dyed.
It is called tornado shibori because the dyed marks resemble a dragon.
