By twisting three strands of yarn spun from Finks cotton, the yarn is given a rounded, fluffy texture, resulting in a tightly woven, dense gabardine.
Furthermore, to give it a soft texture, the fabric has been repeatedly beaten, rubbed and washed, and is then hand-dyed using traditional Kyoto techniques to create a deep gradation of color.
