I came across some domestically produced vegetable tanned calf leather.
It was nearly impossible to source calfskin domestically, so when I found it, I immediately wanted to turn it into a simple, everyday product.
The texture and feel are characteristic of calfskin, and the fine grain will develop a glossy look with use.
