The filling is made of synthetic cotton CLIMASHIELD® APEX 67g/m2.
Although synthetic cotton is inferior to down in some ways,
Compared to down, it is more resistant to getting wet and is less likely to lose its heat-retaining properties.
It is also used by the US military in cold weather wear for extremely cold regions.
Furthermore, the same synthetic cotton is less likely to wear out.
Tilak has actually tested it before adopting it.
