Using the pattern of a traditional Cowichan sweater, a completely hand-knitted gown was created using a combination of British tweed and woollen mohair yarn.
The textile, expressed in shadow, does not have the warm and cozy feel that is typical of Cowichan bags, but rather has a somewhat modern and sharp look.
The patterns, unevenness, and three-dimensional feel that can only be achieved by completely hand-knitting by highly skilled Japanese craftsmen give the fabric a truly luxurious feel that is unlike any other.
