The hem piping (color scheme) is made of brushed flannel check fabric. The sides of the body and sleeves are sewn using a special sewing machine called a flat seam (four-needle sewing), which is used for high-end underwear, training wear, swimwear, etc. It is stronger than other sewing methods and has the characteristic that there is no seam allowance on the front or back.
