New Manual x KAPTAIN SUNSHINE

This New Manual x KAPTAIN SUNSHINE collaboration item was sold exclusively at the KAPTAIN SUNSHINE POP STORE at Isetan Shinjuku in April 2024.

From among these, jackets and hoodies have been examined from NEW MANUAL's unique perspective and have been released with deliberate and skillful reworking.

The collaboration items are based on vintage items that KAPTAIN SUNSHINE designer Shinsuke Kojima purchased from BerBerJin.

Based on a vintage T-BACK Denim Jacket. The size and details remain the same, but the vintage sample selected by Yu Fujiwara has been given a new fade and paint treatment. Made from New Manual's original denim.

Based on the 1940s Chore Jacket style, this item is made from New Manual's original light-ounce denim and is based on a vintage sample selected by Yu Fujiwara, with newly faded and painted finishes.

New Manual×KAPTAIN SUNSHINE Collaboration After Hoodie Sweat

The knit fabric is New Manual's original hanging fleece, and is based on a vintage sample chosen by Fujiwara Yutaka, with new distressing and the brand's first ever dyed logo print.

New Manual×KAPTAIN SUNSHINE Collaboration Crew Neck T-Shirts
TS-KS-0001

Based on the T-shirt style of the 1970s and 1980s. The round-body jersey knit is made with thick yarn with a slightly rough texture, and is an original knit created for this project. The neck is a binder neck specification. It is not a tight classic fit, but rather has a slightly loose silhouette. The body has a New Manual label-shaped dye-in print.

This special item was created through a collaboration between two dedicated brands and has since been further enhanced with new touches.

The release will be limited in quantity and at limited stores. Please take a look.
