In January 2020, SAINT Mxxxxxx (SAINT MICHAEL) was launched in Paris, France by readymade designer Yuta Hosokawa and Los Angeles-based multi-visual artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt. The product will be available in Japan and overseas from fall 2020. The garments feature graphical prints and a realistic vintage feel; when worn or washed, the prints become fuzzy on the surface of the fabric and crack in the printed areas. The more you wear them, the more vintage-like the texture becomes, but they have also been specially treated to prevent fading and deterioration over time.

DESIGNERS

The designers are artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt and READYMADE's Yuta Hosokawa, two people with very different backgrounds. Kari is an artist who has been active at the crossroads of contemporary art and music culture, while Hosokawa is a designer who reconstructs military and vintage styles. The sensibilities of these two people, who seem to be at odds but resonate with each other, create the clothes of SAINT Mxxxxxx.
